License

Status default seluruh karya MEA Ecosystem (kode, desain, logo, ikon, dokumen, produk, dan aset lainnya) adalah tertutup (all rights reserved) — bukan terbuka. Lisensi ini tidak membuka hak pakai, salin, atau distribusi ulang atas karya MEA Ecosystem secara umum.

Lisensi ini hanya berlaku untuk karya yang secara eksplisit dinyatakan tunduk pada "MEA Ecosystem License", melalui salah satu dari:

• Dokumen LICENSE.md ini disertakan langsung di dalam repositori/ rilisan karya tersebut, dan
• Karya tersebut secara eksplisit menyatakan statusnya terbuka (misalnya lewat dokumen addendum spesifik karya, seperti ADDENDUM-PUSTAKA.md atau ADDENDUM-SIESTA.md, atau pernyataan jelas lain dari MEA Ecosystem bahwa karya tersebut dirilis di bawah lisensi ini).

Contoh penerapan: dataset Pustaka dan model Siesta secara eksplisit dirilis terbuka di bawah lisensi ini (lihat addendum masing-masing). Sebaliknya, kode produk seperti Forgelyx, aset desain (logo, ikon), dan konten produk pada umumnya tetap tertutup — kehadiran dokumen ini di suatu repositori teknis MEA Ecosystem (misalnya untuk keperluan referensi internal) tidak dengan sendirinya membuka karya di repositori tersebut, kecuali dinyatakan eksplisit sebagaimana di atas.

Untuk karya yang memang berstatus terbuka di bawah lisensi ini: materi pihak ketiga yang ikut disertakan (kode, data, atau aset dari sumber lain) tetap tunduk pada lisensi aslinya masing-masing, bukan lisensi ini. Lisensi ini tidak memberikan hak apa pun atas materi pihak ketiga tersebut. Jika suatu karya menggabungkan materi berlisensi berbeda, lihat dokumen addendum karya tersebut (jika ada) untuk rincian per sumber.

Dengan tunduk pada syarat di Bagian 3–5, Anda diberikan hak, bebas royalti dan tidak eksklusif, untuk:

• Menggunakan karya untuk keperluan apa pun, termasuk komersial;
• Menyalin, mendistribusikan ulang, dan memodifikasi karya;
• Membuat dan mendistribusikan karya turunan.

Setiap penggunaan, redistribusi, atau karya turunan wajib menyertakan atribusi berikut, dalam bentuk yang terlihat dan dapat dibaca oleh pengguna wajar dari karya turunan tersebut — bukan disembunyikan di metadata internal, komentar kode yang tidak pernah ditampilkan, atau lokasi yang secara praktis tidak akan ditemukan pengguna:

"Berbasis/menggunakan [nama karya] oleh MEA Ecosystem (https://meaecosystem.com), dilisensikan di bawah MEA Ecosystem License."

Lokasi atribusi yang dianggap sah (pilih sesuai jenis karya turunan): README atau dokumentasi utama karya turunan; halaman "About"/"Credits" produk; model card (untuk model AI); dataset card (untuk dataset turunan); atau bagian "Acknowledgements" pada publikasi akademik. Atribusi yang hanya ada di riwayat commit Git, file lisensi pihak ketiga yang dikumpulkan massal tanpa konteks, atau dokumen internal yang tidak dipublikasikan tidak memenuhi syarat ini.

Jika karya turunan dipublikasikan (termasuk di Hugging Face, GitHub, atau platform distribusi lain), turunan tersebut wajib disebutkan secara eksplisit sebagai turunan dari karya asli — bukan disajikan seolah-olah merupakan karya orisinal yang berdiri sendiri.

Lisensi ini memberikan hak atas karya (kode/dataset/model/dokumen), bukan atas nama, logo, atau identitas merek MEA Ecosystem (termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada: "MEA Ecosystem", "MEA", "Pustaka", "Siesta", dan nama produk lain di bawah payung MEA Ecosystem — lihat daftar lengkap di rebranding-mea-ecosystem.md).

Anda tidak diizinkan:

• Menggunakan nama atau logo MEA Ecosystem (atau produk di bawahnya) untuk menyatakan atau menyiratkan dukungan resmi (endorsement), afiliasi, atau sponsorship atas karya turunan Anda, kecuali mendapat izin tertulis terpisah dari MEA Ecosystem;
• Menamai karya turunan Anda dengan cara yang dapat secara wajar dianggap sebagai produk resmi MEA Ecosystem (misalnya nama yang identik atau sangat mirip dengan nama produk MEA Ecosystem yang ada);
• Menghapus atau menyamarkan atribusi wajib di Bagian 3 sambil tetap menggunakan nama MEA Ecosystem untuk tujuan promosi.

Atribusi yang disyaratkan di Bagian 3 (menyebutkan sumber karya) bukan izin untuk pemakaian merek dagang di luar konteks atribusi tersebut.

Jika karya ini berupa atau mengandung dataset yang bersumber dari data publik (termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada hasil crawling web atau agregasi berita), MEA Ecosystem berupaya menghapus atau menyamarkan informasi yang dapat mengidentifikasi individu secara langsung (PII) sebelum perilisan, namun tidak menjamin cakupan penghapusan tersebut sepenuhnya lengkap, mengingat skala data yang diproses.

Jika Anda menemukan PII, data pribadi sensitif, atau informasi yang seharusnya tidak dipublikasikan dalam suatu karya di bawah lisensi ini, laporkan melalui halaman diskusi repositori/dataset terkait atau kontak resmi MEA Ecosystem (lihat [email protected]). MEA Ecosystem akan menindaklanjuti laporan yang sah dengan menghapus data yang dimaksud dari rilis berikutnya dalam waktu yang wajar.

Ketentuan ini berlaku tambahan, bukan pengganti, atas ketentuan privasi spesifik yang mungkin tercantum dalam addendum karya tertentu (misalnya untuk dataset berbasis crawling berskala besar).

KARYA DISEDIAKAN "SEBAGAIMANA ADANYA" (AS IS), TANPA JAMINAN APA PUN, BAIK TERSURAT MAUPUN TERSIRAT, TERMASUK NAMUN TIDAK TERBATAS PADA JAMINAN KELAYAKAN UNTUK DIPERDAGANGKAN, KESESUAIAN UNTUK TUJUAN TERTENTU, DAN TIDAK ADANYA PELANGGARAN HAK PIHAK LAIN. MEA ECOSYSTEM TIDAK BERTANGGUNG JAWAB ATAS KLAIM, KERUSAKAN, ATAU KERUGIAN APA PUN YANG TIMBUL DARI ATAU SEHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENGGUNAAN KARYA INI.

Hak yang diberikan dalam lisensi ini berakhir secara otomatis jika Anda melanggar salah satu syarat di Bagian 3 atau 4, terhitung sejak tanggal pelanggaran tersebut terjadi. Hak dapat dipulihkan jika pelanggaran diperbaiki dalam waktu 30 hari sejak diberitahu secara tertulis oleh MEA Ecosystem, kecuali untuk pelanggaran yang disengaja dan berulang.

MEA Ecosystem dapat menerbitkan versi baru lisensi ini dari waktu ke waktu. Karya yang sudah dirilis di bawah suatu versi tertentu tetap tunduk pada versi tersebut, kecuali MEA Ecosystem secara eksplisit menyatakan karya tersebut mengikuti versi lisensi terbaru. Versi terkini selalu tersedia di repositori resmi MEA Ecosystem di GitHub.

Lisensi ini diatur oleh dan ditafsirkan sesuai dengan hukum Republik Indonesia, tanpa memperhatikan ketentuan konflik hukum.

Lisensi ini tersedia dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Versi Bahasa Inggris adalah acuan resmi untuk keperluan hukum formal (termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada penafsiran di hadapan pengadilan atau lembaga arbitrase di luar Indonesia); versi Bahasa Indonesia disediakan untuk kejelasan operasional sehari-hari dan ditujukan untuk seakurat mungkin mencerminkan versi Bahasa Inggris. Jika ditemukan perbedaan substansi di antara keduanya, versi Bahasa Inggris yang berlaku.

The default status of all MEA Ecosystem works (code, design, logos, icons, documents, products, and other assets) is closed (all rights reserved) — not open. This license does not open up rights to use, copy, or redistribute MEA Ecosystem works in general.

This license only applies to works explicitly stated to be subject to the "MEA Ecosystem License", through either of:

• This LICENSE.md document is included directly within the repository/release of that work, and
• That work explicitly states its open status (for example, through a work-specific addendum document, such as ADDENDUM-PUSTAKA.md or ADDENDUM-SIESTA.md, or another clear statement from MEA Ecosystem that the work is released under this license).

Example application: the Pustaka dataset and the Siesta model are explicitly released as open under this license (see their respective addenda). Conversely, product code such as Forgelyx, design assets (logos, icons), and product content in general remain closed — the presence of this document in a MEA Ecosystem technical repository (for example, for internal reference purposes) does not by itself open up the works in that repository, unless explicitly stated as above.

For works that are indeed open under this license: any third-party material included within them (code, data, or assets from other sources) remains subject to its own original license, not this one. This license grants no rights whatsoever over such third-party material. If a work combines materials under different licenses, see that work's addendum document (if any) for per-source details.

Subject to the terms in Sections 3–5, you are granted a royalty-free, non-exclusive right to:

• Use the work for any purpose, including commercial use;
• Copy, redistribute, and modify the work;
• Create and distribute derivative works.

Any use, redistribution, or derivative work must include the following attribution, in a form that is visible and readable to a reasonable user of that derivative work — not hidden in internal metadata, code comments that are never rendered, or a location a user would not practically find:

"Based on/uses [work name] by MEA Ecosystem (https://meaecosystem.com), licensed under the MEA Ecosystem License."

Locations considered valid (choose based on the type of derivative work): the derivative work's main README or documentation; the product's "About"/"Credits" page; a model card (for AI models); a dataset card (for derivative datasets); or an "Acknowledgements" section in an academic publication. Attribution that exists only in Git commit history, in a bulk-collected third-party license file without context, or in an unpublished internal document does not satisfy this requirement.

If a derivative work is published (including on Hugging Face, GitHub, or other distribution platforms), it must be explicitly identified as a derivative of the original work — not presented as if it were a standalone original work.

This license grants rights to the work (code/dataset/model/ document), not to the MEA Ecosystem name, logo, or brand identity (including but not limited to: "MEA Ecosystem", "MEA", "Pustaka", "Siesta", and other product names under the MEA Ecosystem umbrella — see the full list in rebranding-mea-ecosystem.md).

You are not permitted to:

• Use the MEA Ecosystem name or logo (or that of any product under it) to state or imply official endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship of your derivative work, except with separate written permission from MEA Ecosystem;
• Name your derivative work in a way that could reasonably be mistaken for an official MEA Ecosystem product (for example, a name identical or highly similar to an existing MEA Ecosystem product name);
• Remove or obscure the attribution required under Section 3 while continuing to use the MEA Ecosystem name for promotional purposes.

The attribution required under Section 3 (crediting the source work) is not permission for trademark use beyond that attribution context.

If this work is or contains a dataset sourced from public data (including but not limited to web-crawl results or news aggregation), MEA Ecosystem makes reasonable efforts to remove or mask directly identifying personal information (PII) before release, but does not guarantee such removal is fully complete, given the scale of data processed.

If you discover PII, sensitive personal data, or information that should not have been published in a work under this license, please report it via the relevant repository/dataset's discussion page or MEA Ecosystem's official contact ([email protected]). MEA Ecosystem will act on valid reports by removing the data in question from the next release within a reasonable timeframe.

This provision is additional to, not a replacement for, any work-specific privacy terms that may appear in a particular work's addendum (for example, for large-scale crawl-based datasets).

THE WORK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. MEA ECOSYSTEM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THIS WORK.

Rights granted under this license terminate automatically if you breach any condition in Section 3 or 4, effective from the date of that breach. Rights may be reinstated if the breach is cured within 30 days of written notice from MEA Ecosystem, except for willful and repeated violations.

MEA Ecosystem may publish new versions of this license from time to time. Works already released under a specific version remain governed by that version, unless MEA Ecosystem explicitly states that work follows the latest license version. The current version is always available in MEA Ecosystem's official GitHub repository.

This license is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

This license is available in Indonesian and English. The English version is the authoritative text for formal legal purposes (including but not limited to interpretation before courts or arbitration bodies outside Indonesia); the Indonesian version is provided for everyday operational clarity and is intended to as accurately as possible reflect the English version. In the event of any discrepancy between the two, the English version prevails.
